It was perhaps the most touching moment in Country Music Association Awards-history, when power couple Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert won song of the year on Thursday night for Lambert’s painful and powerful single “Over You."

Shelton, who wrote the track about the car accident that killed his older brother when he was teenager, gave an emotional acceptance speech, turned to his teary-eyed wife, and said, “I just needed the right person to write this song with and the right person to sing it. I love you so much.” Lambert replied, “Thank you, Blake, for allowing me to sing this beautiful song and write it with you.”

Shelton and Lambert weren't the only couple with big wins at this year's awards. Little Big Town, a quartet that includes couple Karen Fairchild and Jimi Westbrook, took home vocal group and single of the year for "Pontoon," and Thompson Square's Shawna and Keifer Thompson won vocal duo of the year.

In honor of what seems to have been a country couples night, we bring you the music genre's hottest pairings.
