Anna Wintour's Passport Photo Was Taken By Mario Testino

Because OF COURSE.

You know you've truly arrived when... your passport photo is taken by Mario Testino.

Not that we had any doubt that Anna Wintour had arrived in the fashion world. But we were unaware that the Vogue editor-in-chief traveled so chicly until Mario Testino, one of the world's most esteemed fashion photographer (and a Vogue favorite), talked about his high-powered pal to the Guardian:

"Every year I go to photograph [Wintour] for the Met Ball – her, her kids." He tells a story of being summoned to shoot a passport photo of Wintour and her first child, which seems a tad unnecessary, yet also perfect.

Not invited or requested -- summoned.

Surprising? Not in the slightest. Anna considers international travel, like everything else in this world, a fashion endeavor to be taken very seriously. Hence the anecdote that Wintour once boarded a plane wearing a Louis Vuitton dress, scooted into the bathroom to change into J Brand jeans once the plane took off, then changed back into her Louis Vuitton right before the plane landed. Better multiple costume changes than to be seen wearing denim in public, right? Right.

We bet none of Anna's passport photos look like these:
