After the first presidential debate President Obama received a lot of criticism from the media about his performance during the Oct. 3rd showing. So, when Donna Brazile, Vice-Chair of the Democratic National Committee, joined me on Mondays with Marlo I just had to ask her what she thought Obama needed to do in the upcoming debates in order to win this year's election.
From Donna's perspective, President Obama needs to speak directly to the American people. Instead of spending the 90-minute-long debate trying to set the record straight, Donna suggests that Obama simply explain to Americans what he's been able to accomplish in the past four years, and what he can accomplish in the next four years. And, if he can do that, Donna says the American people will reward Obama with their votes.
