Rumor has it that 19-year-old One Direction member Liam Payne called it quits with longtime girlfriend Danielle Peazer, the 24-year-old dancer he met on the set of "X Factor" UK. Although neither Liam nor Danielle have confirmed the split, sources are claiming that Peazer broke up with Liam because his busy work schedule didn't leave enough time for the relationship.
According to Perez Hilton, a source close to Liam revealed: "They have split in the last few days because it has been more and more difficult to keep the relationship going with Liam spending more and more time away.”
Another source claims that Danielle was "tired of feeling lonely because of the long separations," the Examiner reports.
It has certainly been a busy year for Liam, between the band's epic American tour and the recording of their highly-anticipated sophomore album, Take Me Home, dropping this November. With the early success of the first single from the new album, "Live While We're Young," the guys are showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
There is also speculation that abuse from One Direction fans played a role in the alleged breakup. Danielle has been the target of bullying and death threats from Directioners on Twitter. British tabloid the Daily Mirror reports that the dancer blocked and unfollowed several One Direction fan groups on Twitter after the split became public.
If the rumors are true, Liam will be single for the first time since the group rose to international fame. The couple met two years ago on the "X Factor" set, where she was a back-up dancer, and had been dating ever since.
