Michelle Obama Congressional Black Caucus: FLOTUS Goes Old Hollywood Glam For Her Speech (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: Michelle Obama Goes Old Hollywood Glam For Congressional Black Caucus

We've obviously been tracking Michelle Obama's style (and pretty much every inch of her technicolor closet), so we made sure to tune in last night to see her speak at the annual awards banquet for the Congressional Black Caucus. After all, she was quite the vision in red at the same event back in 2010. This year, FLOTUS went old Hollywood glam on us -- and she looked stunning.

Mrs. O took to the stage to speak to the gathering of black lawmakers and leaders in a floor-length black satin gown by Michael Kors (the same one she wore to the Presidential Medal of Freedom ceremony in June). Detailing like the asymmetrical neckline, iridescent belt and matching silver earrings made us think of glitzy vintage screen sirens. Michelle's signature doe-eyes and coiffed hair definitely helped in that department too. (Unfortunately, as far as we can tell, there was no nail color in sight, leaving us to remember fondly the days of the Democratic National Convention when her gray nails sparked a major trend.)

And since we know FLOTUS isn't scared of a little color (or floral print or polka dot), we were definitely pleasantly surprised to see Michelle go totally streamlined and classic last night.

What do you think of Michelle Obama's Congressional Black Caucus look? Check out the photos and tell us if you're also getting the old Hollywood vibe.
