What do you wear when hosting a $40,000-a-plate dinner for the President of the United States? A red hot dress, of course!
Beyonce stepped out in curve-hugging crimson colored Oscar de la Renta frock with a bejeweled belt on Wednesday night to co-host, along with her husband Jay-Z, a fundraising event for Barack Obama's reelection campaign. Her honey-blonde tresses were swept to one side with soft curls cascading down her shoulder for a very Old Hollywood 'do to complete her amazing head-to-toe look.
Jay looked just as spectacular for the event, which was held at his 40/40 club in New York City, in a dark tailored suit, crisp white shirt and a sleek tie clip adorning his tie.
No official photos have been released from the posh event that raised $4 million, but thanks to the wonderful world of social media we didn't have to shell out $40K to get a sneak peek behind the Secret Service-manned doors. A few of Bey and Jay's wealthy guests whipped out their smartphones to capture some fabulous moments with the superstar hosts and graciously shared them with the world via Twitter.
Sadly, the First Lady wasn't able to make the event. The combination of Beyonce's hot dress and the no-doubt stunning ensemble the FLOTUS would have rocked, is too much for our fashion-loving hearts to even imagine.
