Another Olympic athlete was disqualified on Day 10 of the 2012 London Summer Olympics; this time for failing a drug test. American judo fighter Nick Delpopolo, who said he unintentionally ate a substance that was baked with marijuana, is the first athlete to fail a drug test during competition.

Delpopolo joins a handful of disqualified athletes, including -- most notably -- the eight female badminton players who were tossed for intentionally not performing their best.

U.S. gymnast Gabby Douglas did not perform up to medal standard during the uneven bars final, finishing last among eight. Aliya Mustafina took gold with a score of 16.133, while China's Kexin He snagged silver and Great Britain's Elizabeth Tweddle won bronze.

In soccer, Japan beat France 2-1 and will continue on to the women's finals. The World Cup champs will play either Canada or the U.S. on Thursday.

In track and field, U.S. athletes Dawn Harper and Lolo Jones advanced to the women's 100m hurdles semifinals along with Sally Pearson of Australia.

Monday's events include qualifying rounds in basketball, beach volleyball, boxing, canoeing, diving, field hockey, handball, soccer, synchronized swimming, table tennis, volleyball, and water polo -- plus medal events in cycling, equestrian, gymnastics, sailing, shooting, track and field, weightlifting and wrestling.
