There's a truth inside each and every one of us. Our first job is to find out what it is. Although it may seem like a daunting task, we have to take responsibility for our lives.

"I intend to speak with clear and understandable intentions." | Support David's Intent

David's intent reminds me of a speech given by the elders of the Hopi Nation. Here's an excerpt:

"It is time to speak your truth.

Create your community. Be good to each other.

And do not look outside yourself for the leader.

This could be a good time!

There is a river flowing now very fast

It is so great and swift that there are

those who will be afraid.

They will try to hold onto the shore.

They will feel they are being torn apart

and they will suffer greatly.

Know the river has its destination."

There's a truth inside each and every one of us. Our first job is to find out what it is. Although it may seem like a daunting task, we have to take responsibility for our lives. For some, like David, that responsibility can be realized through conveying clarity to himself and to others. Although we don't know our destinations, we shouldn't be afraid; we shouldn't hold onto the shore. We have to find the conviction to use the power of our voice. We are the ones we've been waiting for.
