There are over 750 cats at the Denver Dumb Friends League looking for homes.

In response, the League has made June "Adopt-A-Shelter-Cat Month" and is waiving adoption fees for kitties 1-year-old and older.

“Our number one goal is to find a forever home for all of the cats in our care,” Denver Dumb Friends League president and CEO Bob Rohde said. “Unfortunately, there is an endless stream of homeless cats coming through our doors each day, and we now need the community’s help more than ever.”

The waived adoption fee includes a spay/neuter surgery, initial vaccinations, microchip ID implant and a free office visit with a participating veterinarian.

It shouldn't take nine lives to realize this is a deal potential cat owners shouldn't miss. Have a look through just a handful of the available cats below.
