We're certainly sad that Fleet Week in New York City is coming to an end. But as hundreds of U.S. Navy and Coast Guard servicemen decked out in crisp white and navy uniforms prepare to ship out, it's only fitting that we pay tribute with this nautical-inspired DIY nail art.

YouTube vlogger CutePolish created this red, white and blue manicure complete with a tiny anchor. In the video below, she shows us how she uses various striper nail polish brushes to achieve crisp lines, plus a toothpick trick she uses to get the perfect triangle-shaped hooks.
