Obama Roscoes: POTUS Gets A Dish Named After Him At Roscoe's House Of Chicken And Waffles

Roscoe's Chicken And Waffles Honors President Obama

First there was NBA player Brandon Jennings' tattoo: an homage to Roscoe's House of Chicken and Waffles, the famous fried food spot from his hometown.

Now Roscoe's is the one paying homage, but this time to President (and customer) Barack Obama.

POTUS visited the Los Angeles culinary landmark in October 2011. Later, he even spoke to Jay Leno about what he ordered: the Country Boy Special with hot sauce. It was "outstanding," he told Leno.

Now, the $8.90 Country Boy Special (three chicken wings and a waffle) has been renamed Obama's Special, reports TMZ -- perhaps just in time for his visit to LA this week?
