Cinco de Mayo is not a real Mexican holiday, but that doesn't mean you can't drink tequila, chomp on tacos, and listen to mariachi while you pretend to know where and when the Battle of Puebla was.

Cinco de Mayo, like St. Patrick's Day, is just another way to celebrate the amazing diversity in this city (and have an excuse to drink).

San Francisco promises to provide all the entertainment necessary this Saturday: ballet folklorico dancers, mariachi music, tequila tasting, museum viewing and watching baseball (Viva los Gigantes!).
