One Chair Three Ways

Have an old dining room chair that you don't know what to do with? Don't throw it out -- transform it. With a few easy steps, you can take that mismatched chair and turn it into one of your favorite -- and most creative -- pieces of furniture that is sure to attract a lot of attention.

All it takes are three key ingredients:
1. Paint: after sanding and priming the chair, choose a vibrant or cool color to complement your existing décor.
2. Fabric: go bold, creative, graphic or contemporary and contrast it to the paint color.
3. Embellishments: have fun in the craft store! Look for accessories to dress up that chair and add some interest.
