Edwin Walker Arrested For Robbery After Diving Through Burger King Drive-Through Window (WATCH)

Perhaps he just forgot the 'r' in drive-thru, or took "have it your way" a little too seriously.

Fort Lauderdale police say 31-year-old Edwin Walker jumped across the hood of a car and dove through a drive-thru window at Burger King, grabbing cash from the register before he was wrestled to the ground by employees.

"It was like a Jet Li movie!" cashier Tanya Calvin told CBSMiami after the incident, which happened around 6 a.m. Monday at a Burger King on West Broward Boulevard.

Authorities say surveillance footage showed Walker waiting for a customer to pull up to the drive-thru window and hand Calvin money for their order. [Watch footage of the attempted robbery above.]

Once the cash register was open, Walker jumped on the hood of the customer's car then dove into the restaurant through the open drive-thru window.

Pushing Calvin aside, he began grabbing cash from the register and tried to exit back through the drive-thru window.

But Calvin grabbed onto Walker's shirt, keeping him from escaping while other employees ran over to wrestle him to the ground, where he was held until police arrived.

"He tried to get money, I wouldn't let him take it," a triumphant Calvin told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. "That was that...It was either me or him, and it was me."

Broward County Jail records show Walker is being held on $10,000 bond on one charge of strong arm robbery.
