'Fox & Friends' Staffer Stumbles, Crashes During Relay Race Segment (VIDEO)

WATCH: 'Fox And Friends' Relay Segment Goes Terribly Wrong

A seemingly fun, light segment on Tuesday's "Fox and Friends" went terribly wrong when a staffer from the show tripped and fell in the middle of a relay race.

"Fox and Friends" hosts Brian Kilmeade and Steve Doocy hosted a relay race in honor of guest Carl Lewis, runner and nine-time Olympic gold medalist, who was there celebrating Hershey's 35-year anniversary of the track and field games.

Fellow Fox News hosts, a "Fox and Friends" staffer, and actor Mark Conseulos enthusiastically gathered around the starting race line outside Fox News studios. The competition grew fierce and somewhat dangerous as the race came down to the final few seconds. Watch in the clip above.
