New York Billboard Proposal: Man Pops The Question With Giant Advertisement (VIDEO)

WATCH: One Man's Larger Than Life Proposal

Joe Ferrari wanted to make a big impression when he proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Laurie Guidice.

Ferrari hired Lamar Advertising to put up a billboard on a highway overpass in New York state, near the couple's home.

The billboard went up on Tuesday and features a photo of Ferrari and Guidice's 20-month-old son, Louis, with the message: "Laurie, will you marry me?" and a speech bubble coming from Louis's mouth that reads, "Mom, Please marry Dad!"

The day the billboard was posted, Ferrari told his girlfriend that they needed to go pick up a new car, but as the couple approached the billboard, Ferrari pretended that there was something wrong with his truck and pulled off to the side of the road to take a look at it.

Guidice quickly saw the billboard with their son's face -- and said yes. The billboard will soon be updated with her answer and stay up for 30 days.
