Larry The Cable Guy Goes Ghost-Hunting On 'Only In America' (VIDEO)

'Only In America': Larry The Cable Guy Turns Ghostbuster

On "Only in America" (Wed., 9 p.m. EST on History) Larry the Cable Guy joined a team searching for paranormal activity at an allegedly haunted civil war site in Newport News, Virginia.

Larry certainly seemed to get more than he'd bargained for at Endview Plantation when the medium he was with suddenly fell into the thrall of "an earthbound soul who's very trapped."

When asked to help the trapped spirit cross over to the other side, Larry joked, "But I am a mere cable guy."

As the medium worked to help various spirits "cross over," it turned out that the ghostly kids that were said to be in the house didn't want to leave. "They want to play a little longer," said the medium.

When the medium came out of the trance, Larry said, "That's crazy! I've never seen anything like it." As he walked down the stairs he emphasized the wackiness of the whole experience by making the "crazy" sign sign with his hand.

"Only In America With Larry The Cable Guy" airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. EST on History.
