Chloe Moretz Talks Fashion Ad Campaigns, Not Being Able to Shop Designer and Guy Crushes

Though "Hugo" and "Kick Ass" actress Chloë Moretz is a fashion favorite -- she was dubbed the 2012 Women In Film Max Mara Face of the Future this past weekend -- don't expect the young starlet to pose for any glossy advertisements anytime soon. "I am only 15," she said via phone after the Sportmax fall 2012 Milan runway show. "If I do one now, then what am I going to do when I'm 20. I'm still pretty new to all of this, and I don't want to pile everything in the first few years. I want something to look forward to."

Those sentiments may seem surprising when several of her contemporaries like Dakota and Elle Fanning and Hailee Steinfeld are the faces of luxury brands, but Moretz likes to think of herself as a "regular teenager." "It's definitely crazy to be called the face of the future," she said of her recent accomplishment. "I have the most normal life with good moral standing. I got a 97 on my finals, so that's great. My mom and brother even came with me to Milan. They are always here to make sure I don't go astray."

Moretz's family values comes into play at all times, especially when it comes to style. "I'm not allowed to buy designer pieces because my mom won't let me, so my style is more eclectic and interesting" she exclaimed. "My closet is filled with Urban Outfitters and Topshop. I really like to mix and match."

That's not to say that Moretz isn't yearning for her own piece of designer heaven. "I literally would die for every Chanel purse ever made," she said. "I want them all. And tons of awesome shoes like Louboutins!"

Standard answers for any fashion-loving gal, but that's not the approach she takes to the characters she chooses. "It would be boring to play myself, like regular old Chloë, because then I wouldn't be acting," she explained. " I like to be on the total opposite spectrum like working on 'Hugo,' I got to play a 1930s Parisian school girl or Hit-Girl in 'Kick Ass.' That's why I wanted to do 'Dark Shadows' with Johnny Depp and Tim Burton. It's so dark and gothic."

Seems like Moretz has a lot more in common with her screen star idols Natalie Portman, Meryl Streep, Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly given their own versatility. "They maneuvered their careers with such different roles. I mean, Natalie started at 13 in 'The Professional' and now look at her! I mean 'Black Swan' was crazy amazing."

As for the fellas, her criteria for future costars is a little different: looks count. "Ryan Gosling is phenomenal," she said. "He's kind of beautiful, so are Ryan Reynolds, Chace Crawford, Chris Pine and oh yeah, Chris Evans. They're gorgeous."

Sounds about right. Moretz is only 15.
