Sean Lennon Thanks Michelle Obama For Inspiring His Style During Yoko Ono's Birthday (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: Michelle Obama Is Sean Lennon's Style Inspiration?

Well, we didn't see that coming.

During the celebration of Yoko Ono's 79th birthday party on Saturday, her son, Sean Lennon, took the time to talk about the First Lady's style.

"I want to thank Michelle Obama for my style. Michelle has been my inspiration. I am studying her oeuvre. Her oeuvre is fascinating."

While we definitely think both Lennon and Mrs. Obama have unique styles, we aren't sure how the First Lady's J.Crew skirts and DVF wrap dresses have influenced the musician's bowler hats and thick frame glasses.

Regardless, we are never ones to hate on someone who knows Michelle Obama has great style; plus, we've noticed both seem to have a love of bows and hints of color!
