'Only In America With Larry The Cable Guy': Bubba Blackwell Makes His First Really Big Jump In Ten Years (VIDEO)

Larry The Cable Guy Watches Motorcycle Daredevil Get Back In The Saddle

On "Only In America" (Wed., 9 p.m. EST on History) Larry The Cable Guy visited Bubba Blackwell as he prepared to make his first really big jump in ten years.

The motorcycle daredevil was almost killed in July 2001 when his attempt to jump over 22 cars on his Harley Davidson went seriously wrong and he crashed.

"I ended up in a coma on life support," the walking medical miracle told Larry before going on to list the massive injuries he sustained in the crash.

"Broke 19 bones, shattered my pelvis, broke six vertebrae in my back, one in my neck, crushed my shoulder ... punctured both lungs, ruptured spleen. The worst thing is, I had bleeding in the brain, they didn't know if I was gonna come out of it."

Larry acted as emcee as Bubba prepared to jump his motorcycle over a line of trucks. He took off at the right speed and cleared the trucks. Job well done, Bubba was back in business, and he was pretty excited about it.

"Only In America With Larry The Cable Guy" airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. EST on History.
