Kris Jenner On Diapers: ‘Nothing Can Be Harder Than This!’

Hollywoods "momager" Kris Jenner says she doesn't regret sharing her family's high and low moments with millions. In the February issue of "Family Circle", she tells the magazine "We wouldn't be the Kardashians if we censored ourselves."

Even though they look like one big happy family (well, most of the time anyway) who vacations in Bora Bora together, Jenner recalls a time when it wasn't easy. She married current husband Bruce in 1991 -- each already had four kids. The hard part about blending families was Kourtney's resistance to Bruce. Jenner says, she "didn't talk to him for the first six months."

One thing Jenner has learned as a parent was something her ex sister-in-law once told her. As the saying goes: "'Little kids, little problems. Big kids, big problems.' I remember calling her when Kourtney was five months old to say, 'This is so hard -- I've been folding cloth diapers for days!' At the time I thought, 'Nothing can be harder than this!' Boy, was I wrong," she recalls.

And now, Bruce and Kris are parenting teens Kylie and Kendall in the digital age -- most likely harder than folding diapers. Luckily, the older girls act as their second (and third and fourth) moms. "They drill messages into their sisters' heads so they won't make the same mistakes. But it's Khloe who checks the younger girls' e-mails and texts to make sure they're not up to anything inappropriate," Jenner tells "Family Circle".

The mom of six, step-mom of four, and grandma of one (soon-to-be two) offers key parenting advice to get through the tougher years:

  • Take Care Of Yourself First

"I get up at 5 a.m. to work out or pray. Knowing I've done a good thing for myself keeps me in a positive mood all day long."

  • Invite Their Friends Over

"Whether they were making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches or throwing parties, I always kept an eye on them."

  • Follow Them On Twitter

"I can go online at any time and see what my family members are doing."
