Underwear Parade: Capitol Improv Stages 'No Pants Metro Ride' On Sunday (VIDEO)

Let It All Hang Out At Sunday's 'No Pants Metro Ride' (VIDEO)

WASHINGTON -- If you're looking for a way to better get to know your fellow Washingtonians, just hop on the Metro on Sunday and see them like never before. It's Capitol Improv's annual "No Pants Metro Ride," which is exactly what it sounds like.

Skivvy-clad participants are invited to convene near L'Enfant Plaza at Hancock Park at 2:30 p.m., then disperse for a Metro-wide-no-pants-fest. (Warning: There's major track work on the Red, Green, Blue and Orange lines this weekend!)

Fortunately for revelers, temperatures this weekend are expected to be unseasonably warm.

The event's website cautions everyone to keep things PG-13, as indecency laws are pretty subjective and an evening in the clinker might put a damper on festivities. If you make it through the experience shiny bracelet-free, the pants-free festivities continue at an after-party at Nellie's Sports Bar at 9th and U street NW from 3:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The ride is part of a global event founded by Improv Everywhere in New York City in 2002 as the "No Pants Subway Ride." Since then, it's spread to cities across the U.S. and even to Europe. Just click through our below slideshow to see what we mean. Underwear all the colors of the rainbow!
