'David Lynch In Four Movements': Richard Vezina's Tribute (VIDEO)

'David Lynch In 4 Movements'

This tribute to David Lynch is easier to understand than most of Lynch's own films, though not by much.

Richard Vezina's "David Lynch in Four Movements" takes you on a twenty-minute tour of the auteur's warped inner worlds, set to the music of longtime Lynch collaborator Angelo Badalamenti and Lynch himself. The tribute has four parts: 'Melancholy and Sadness – Questions In A World Of Blue'; 'Action, Violence, and Sex – The Pink Room'; 'Dreams and Nightmares – Into The Night' and 'Love and Hope – Mysteries of Love.'

We caught glimpses of "Mulholland Drive," "Blue Velvet," "Eraserhead" and more.

"My video is a symphony in 4 movements, using 4 musical pieces from Angelo Badalamenti/David Lynch. Each movement is about certain themes or visual trends in Lynch's work. Since the tribute lasts 20 minutes, it may be a bit long for people who are not familiar with his films," wrote Vezina.
