Stevie Johnson Mocks Plaxico Burress Gun Incident During Bills-Jets Game (VIDEO)

Shot Down: Bills Receiver Mocks Jets, Plaxico Gun Incident After Scoring TD

Buffalo Bills receiver Stevie Johnson got a little creative with his touchdown celebration in the second quarter against the New York Jets. Once he got back on his feet after giving Buffalo a 14-7 lead, Johnson started dancing and then pretended to shoot himself in the leg, clearly mocking Jets receiver Plaxico Burress.

Almost exactly three years ago, Burress accidentally shot himself in the thigh at a nightclub in Manhattan and eventually pleaded guilty to one count of attempted criminal possession of a weapon, resulting in in a two-year prison sentence. The Jets gave the former New York Giants standout a second chance and signed him to a one-year deal before the season.

Seconds after acting out the gun incident, Johnson began the second phase of his celebration. He spread his arms to mock Jets receiver Santonio Holmes' "flight crew" celebration. After a few steps miming Holmes, Johnson crumpled to the turf, acting out a plane crash.

The double-trouble touchdown celebration immediately gained the Twitterverse's attention. Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe ripped Johnson, calling him "classless."

Late in the fourth quarter after a Holmes touchdown catch gave the Jets a 28-24 lead, Johnson dropped what would have been a 30-yard reception when he wide open in the middle of the field. New York went on to win.
