Berlusconi Love Songs Album Set For Release

'Stay And Leave Me Your Heart': Berlusconi Pens Love Songs For Album Release

It's well established that Silvio Berlusconi is a ladies' man, but who knew that the 75-year-old former Italian PM is also an undiscovered musical talent?

The Italian news agency ANSA reports that Berluconi will release an album of love songs on November 22. The album, appropriately titled "Il Vero Amore" (The True Love), is made in collaboration with guitarist and singer Mariano Apicella.

ABC describes the tracks on the record as sensual Napolitan songs that tell of tormented love and feature lyrics such as "another day of wind and rain, another night without you," and "stay, and leave me your heart."

"Il Vero Amore" will be the fourth album Berlusconi has produced with Apicella. According to The Guardian, the pair has also performed together for guests such as Tony and Cherie Blair, George W. Bush and Vladimir Putin.

Berlusconi resigned on Saturday as Italy's prime minister, handing over power to former European Commissioner Mario Monti. Berlusconi's last years in office were plagued by scandals, lawsuits and political crises.
