'Dancing With The Stars' Week 6: Maksim & Len Have A Major Ballroom Blowout (WATCH)

'DWTS': Maks & Len's SHOCKING Fight!

We all know that "Dancing With the Stars" can be a bit of a popularity contest, but professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy thinks the judges are the ones at fault. During Monday (Oct. 24) night's "DWTS," hot-tempered Maks had a serious fallout with judge Len Goodman.

If we were judging it, Maks would definitely receive a 10 for his diva behavior.

Maks and Len had a total fallout in the ballroom this week, after Len criticized Hope, calling her rather dull rumba, "her worst dance of the whole season." Well, Maks didn't quite like that criticism and riled up the already cheering crowd, interrupting Len's critique. That's when Len snapped.

You see, Maks, Len gets the reputation for being the most critical -- and technical -- judge for a reason. He actually judges for skill, and as he pointed out, he's been doing it for quite some time. And that's when Maks decided to tell Len that maybe it was time for him to quit. "Maybe it's time to go!" Maks offered.

Oh snap.

That's when Carrie Ann snapped and told Maks to quit being disrespectful, rather forcefully, but the damage had already been done.

To be honest, we get his frustration. Week after week, the judges seem to flip-flop between judging for personality and enthusiasm and judging for actual skill. You never seem to know which set of judges you're going to get. It seems like the judges definitely play favorites, and they tailor their critiques accordingly. We would be pretty upset too if we were Maks, but he definitely took it too far, disrespecting Len. After all, he's been on "DWTS" for 12 seasons now, so you would think that he owed a bit of his success to Len and the team.

But that's where Maks started to get cocky. "With all due respect, this is my show," Maks told Brooke Burke after his blowout with Len and the judges. "I help make it what it is."

However, there was no need to be disrespectful, Maks. Maybe he was just upset that Hope didn't do as well as she could have? After all, it really wasn't her best night.

Looks like Maks won't be taking home the Mirror Ball any time soon. But hopefully his showdown with Len won't be what sends him and Hope home this week.
