Shaq Visits China: Yao Ming, Adoring Fans Hosts Shaquille O'Neal (VIDEOS)

Oct 21, 2011 | Updated Dec 21, 2011

With the NBA Lockout still ongoing, it appears that Shaquille O'Neal has a little more time to kill before he begins working as an NBA analyst for TNT. If the Lockout drags on then perhaps he'll extend his current trip.

Shaq is visiting China on a "Goodbye Legend" tour on behalf of Chinese shoe maker, Li-Ning, whom he has an endorsement deal with. Fortunately, the Big Ex-Patriot has brought his fans along for the ride via the miracle of social networking.

Using the website Tout.com, which allows users to upload 15 second videos to share with followers, Shaq has recorded several moments he's had in China. Shaq announced his retirement via a video he posted on Tout earlier in the summer.

If you're familiar with Shaq's comedic work (Kazaam, anyone?) you know that it's not a stretch to assume the videos are entertaining. On second thought, viewers of Kazaam might need some convincing but take our word for it.

Some of our favorite moments include Shaq trying something called "snake juice" and his encounter with fellow NBA retiree Yao Ming, whom Shaq described via Twitter as "the greatest center ever."

We compiled the videos Shaq has shot so far in China below for you to browse.
