Marcus starts by pointing out that while this dish looks very sophisticated, it's actually easy to make at home. It's perfect for holiday entertaining. He begins by prepping the potato cakes. He cuts two russet potatoes in half, then places them in salted boiling water. While they're cooking, he chops some onion and adds it to a bowl with salt, olive oil, and an egg.
