Valeh Nazemoff, author of international bestseller, "The Four Intelligences of the Business Mind: How to Rewire Your Brain and Your Business for Success" and "The Dance of the Business Mind: Strategies to Thrive Anywhere, From the Ballroom to the Boardroom," is the Executive Vice President and Co-Owner of Acolyst, a high-level data and business performance management consulting firm. She has been featured in New York’s Times Square and in many prestigious media publications such as Thomson Reuters, Wiley, InformationWeek, IDG, Huffington Post, SUCCESS, Entrepreneur, Fox News, Yahoo!, Inc Magazine, Chicago Tribune, and NY Post. Valeh is also a regular contributor to CIO.com through her blog series “The Mindful CIO.” Valeh has served as a judge for VARBusiness Technologist of the Year Award, as well as sat on the editorial cabinet committee three years for CRN Magazine. In her book, she shares her process for developing the framework of the four transformational intelligences that lead to business success using the approach blending research from the fields of neuroscience, psychology, organizational behavior, analytics, inputs from influential industry leaders, and her company’s extensive experience with multinational enterprises and key government agencies. As an accomplished strategic advisor, team builder, speaker, author and teacher, she is passionate about improving people’s lives through strategic planning, technology and teamwork. Valeh enjoys problem solving, and loves taking the puzzle pieces of a distressed organization then helping to create order from chaos. She is known as a firefighter who brings her energy and intention to helping businesses get back on track from their delayed projects. Her passion is to transform organizations by sharing a proven framework based on her company’s methodology that helps leaders and decision makers create a strategic plan and approach future challenges practically, positively, and proactively. Professionally known as a go-to business transformational and technology expert who has been called the tipping point, Valeh has guided project teams for many government clients, including the U.S. Postal Service, Social Security Administration and Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation. She has also consulted for clients of CA Technologies, and was engaged by Lockheed Martin and CACI International. A life-long student, Valeh has earned a BS in psychology with a focus in organizational behavior and two MBAs in both e-business and global management and certification in project management. She has taught and mentored university students from George Mason University, University of Mary Washington, University of Phoenix and Marymount University on various business topics and skills and has volunteered and served as the Young AFCEAN Chair for the Armed Forces Electronic Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) NOVA Chapter. Valeh has held workshops and speaking sessions at GRC Summit and CA World, among other prominent venues, and shared insights with CIOs and high-level executives during the Healthcare IT Summit. Her past workshops and coaching sessions included attendees from Harvard University, IBM, Wal-Mart, and Erie Insurance. Valeh is the recipient of several leadership awards and was recognized for four consecutive years on CRN Magazine’s 2016, 2015, 2014 and 2013 Women of the Channel lists. She's a competitive ballroom dancer dancing the Rumba, Cha Cha, Samba, and her favorite - the Paso Doble.
