Ulysses is an accomplished attorney and thought leader on issues of governance, anti-corruption, and development; rule of law; multilateralism; and international law and regulation. In 2017 he was appointed Special Advisor to the UN Global Compact on Anti-Corruption and Global Governance. In 2016 he was recognized as one of ten global SDG Pioneers for work contributing to progress with governance, rule of law, and strong institutions. His work includes advising on human rights frameworks, international economic sanctions and anti-corruption regulations. He is a champion for good governance, and is frequent speaker and commentator, working with clients in more than 20 countries on 6 continents.
