Tom Macy is a cocktail bartender, creator, writer, teacher and consultant. He is part owner of two cocktail bars in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn: the Clover Club – where he is also the head bartender and curates the seasonal menus – and Leyenda, which is right across the street. In addition to creating and serving people cocktails, Tom is also on a personal mission to help people make drink better ones themselves. His recently launched website, socialhourcocktails.com, is a comprehensive guide full of in-depth advice on cocktail recipes, techniques, tools and a whole lot more. He teaches classes at the Brooklyn Kitchen and has dozens of cocktail videos on Youtube, many of which have among the most views in their category. But his #1 role is husband and daddy. He lives in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn with his wife Ellen and their two daughters, Willow and Violet (with one more girl on the way).
