Published writer and author, long-time AdMan...

An accomplished business builder and published writer, I’ve led some of the world’s biggest brands, generating share and sales growth at every turn. A public speaker and published author, with two co-written books with best-selling author James Patterson, the first one just published (“Nooners”). Wrote earlier regular columns for Adweek Magazine and The Fog City Journal. An experienced advertising agency leader, with specific growth responsibilities, I helped add significant new clients at every New York-based agency I worked at. Recently retained as a Thought Leader with the Integrated Marketing Association. As an active consultant I continue to engage in diverse assignments; e.g. represented the plaintiff as the “marketing expert” in a class action lawsuit against my old client, ABInBev, for misleading marketing re: Beck’s and Kirin beers. I was the pivotal resource, and we prevailed. Core competencies: • Business builder. • Brand leader and builder. • Agency and team leader. Workshop leader. • Creative strategic development. • Pro-active business, agency and brand consultant. • Published columnist and writer. • Public speaker. Media appearances include: CBS This Morning (http://tinyurl.com/7flkldp); BBC “History of Blues in America” documentary; co-host, The Blues Hour with Michael Bourne, WBGO-FM, Newark; on-camera artist interviews for Soulsville USA (Stax). Bottom line: I’m a problem solver and business builder. A people person. I’m a teacher. I produce. I make things happen. And I have fun doing it.
