Suzanne Deal Booth

Director of <a href="http://www.fohpinfo.org">Friends of Heritage Preservation</a>

Suzanne Deal Booth is the founder and Director of Friends of Heritage Preservation, a non-profit organization based in Los Angeles that is dedicated to the recognition, preservation and conservation of artistic and cultural heritage.

Ms. Booth has previously worked at the J. Paul Getty Trust in Los Angeles. She is a board member at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and serves on the Humanities Advisory Board, Rice University, Houston. From 2004-2008, she was a board member of the California Cultural and Historical Endowment for the State of California. In 2008 she founded Orsini Press, a publishing company.

In 2001-02 Ms. Booth lived with her husband and two children in Rome, Italy. They established the Booth Family Rome Prize Fellowship for Historic Preservation and Conservation at the American Academy in Rome.

Ms. Booth has a Masters Degree in Art History from the Institute of Fine Arts, New York, University, NY, 1984 and a Certificate in Art Conservation from the Conservation Center of the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University, NY. She received her Bachelor of Arts (Cum Laude) from Rice University, Houston, TX in 1977. She currently lives between Los Angeles, CA and Austin, TX.
