Stephen Miles Uzzo, PhD.

Stephen Uzzo is Vice President for Science and Technology for the New York Hall of Science where he develops programs and exhibitions on complex science and advocates for computational and data literacy. He also teaches education theory and practice at the New York Institute of Technology Graduate School of Education. His background includes television systems engineering, computer graphics, and other information technologies. Dr. Uzzo has over twenty years experience in developing programs for formal and informal STEM teaching and learning and holds a terminal degree in network theory and environmental studies from the Union Institute. Having never lived very far from the shore in New York and California, Dr. Uzzo’s pastimes include ocean and beach conservation projects.
