Silvia Bianco is a professional chef, teacher, writer and native Italian. She was the co-founder of the former popular eatery in Ridgefield, CT, Biscotti. After 10 successful years, she went on to publish the first in-depth cookbook on sauté in the US, entitled Simply Sauté . For the last 10 years she’s been giving in-home cooking classes to private groups and doing team building events for some of the country’s top corporations such as GE, Unilever, and P&G. She’s cooked on stage at the Ridgefield Playhouse and the James Beard House and appeared on numerous TV shows including The Today Show.
