Shawna Dolansky is co-author of "The Bible Now" with Richard E. Friedman, and author of "Now You See It, Now You Don't: Biblical Perspectives on the Relationship Between Religion and Magic" and editor of "Sacred History, Sacred Literature." After 15 years of teaching Biblical and Religious Studies at universities in the U.S. from San Diego to Boston, she has recently moved back to Ottawa, Canada, where she is an Instructor and Research Fellow at the College of the Humanities at Carleton University.
