Author, President of Usher's New Look

Shawn H. Wilson, currently serves as President of Atlanta Base Usher's New Look. Shawn is considered a thought leader in the area of celebrity philanthropy, having served more than two-dozen celebrity clients in his 20 years of service in the non-profit sector including, Usher Raymond IV, Paul Pierce, Baron Davis, Dwight Howard, Lisa Lopes Foundation and Allen Rossum.

A trendsetter in the area of collaboration, Shawn specializes in bringing celebrities together around a single issue and partnering with existing non-profit organizations in order to make a bigger, more profound impact on the community. Shawn has successfully forged dozens of partnerships for his clients including; the California Department of Health, UCLA School of Public Health, City Year, ServiceNation, Public Health Institute, Communities in Schools and the United Nations Foundation.

Shawn played an instrumental role in creating the first-ever Professional Athletes Council (PAC), comprised of 32 athletes from the NBA, NFL, NASCAR and WNBA, in a national campaign challenging youth obesity. He also leveraged his expertise to create a joint initiative - Athletes Helping Youth - that combined the fundraising efforts of half a dozen celebrity-founded non-profit organizations focused on helping community youth.

A recognized expert in board development, strategic planning, and creating niche programming for a wide range of non-profits, Shawn H. Wilson has penned his first book Good Works, Not Good Times. Shawn's ability to merge philanthropy with technical innovation led him to executive produce a 10-part web-cast series for Usher's New Look, as well as and Instant Recess series for Allen Rossum which is currently being utilized by schools in four states. Shawn also played a key role in bringing Usher's first charity single, "Hush," to market and produced its accompanying video.

A sought after speaker by non-profit organizations and corporations alike, Shawn holds business degrees from both Cardinal Stritch College in Milwaukee and Shorter College in Rome, Ga. He currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
