Shannon Wrzesinski

Shannon Wrzesinski grew up in the movie capital of Southern California. To escape the heat, she and her sister would eat lots of Red Vines® licorice while watching double features in the cool, air-conditioned theaters.

She has always enjoyed movies since those childhood years. As a teenager her first job was working at a movie theater. Now in the Midwest, she has found that movies have become the touchstones of her life.

Shannon is a movie fan who has a blog at MySisterLovesMovies.com, where she reflects on movies both old and new and how they intertwine with her life.

As part of her blog she has undertaken an ambitious project she's calling The 501 Must-See Movies Challenge. She's going to try to see all of the movies featured in the book 501 Must-See Movies (Bounty Books, 2014).

She is a big fan of WordPress, the platform she uses to build websites. She regularly attends WordPress Meet-Ups and area WordCamps, and follows WordPress blogs and podcasts. She finds the WordPress community to be a group of wonderful, encouraging people.

She is also a member of Toastmasters where she works to develop her leadership and communication skills. Her personal motto is "Turn Challenges Into Opportunities."
