Policy Analyst, Save Darfur Coalition

Sean Brooks manages the Save Darfur Coalition’s relationships with civil society organizations in Sudan, the international Darfuri diaspora community, and NGOs in Africa, Europe, and the Arab World. As a member of the coalition’s policy and government relations team, he leads the coalition’s research efforts and writes frequently on current developments in Sudan. He has a master’s degree from the Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in international relations and international economic with a concentration in Middle East Studies. Before moving to Washington, he worked in the President’s Office of the American University in Cairo and volunteered at a center assisting refugees from Sudan and Somalia.
