Scott Swenson

Scott Swenson is a writer and strategic communications consultant advocating on behalf of progressive nonprofits, foundations and political organizations. He was the founding Editor of RH Reality Check, an online publication promoting progressive ideas about sexual and reproductive health. He served as Executive Director of Death with Dignity National Center, the organization responsible for drafting, passing and defending Oregon´s landmark Death with Dignity law. He helped produce and promote televised hearings on racism at the U.N. World Conference Against Racism in 2001 and worked to promote gay rights at the Gill Foundation and as part of the media team at the 1993 March on Washington.
