Executive Life Coach and Interfaith Activist

Samir Selmanovic, PhD PCC, has worked as a Christian pastor and community organizer across the nation for the last twelve years, founding Faith House Manhattan in 2007, an inter-religious “community of communities” and a co-laboratory of interdependence. Samir writes and lectures at universities and other institutions nationally and internationally, and has been profiled in The New York Times. In 2009 his first book, It’s Really All About God: How Islam, Atheism, and Judaism Made Me a Better Christian, a book about understanding and collaboration with the “religious other”, was published.

Samir is an Executive Life Coach at Wisdom Workroom, helping high achievers in financial, healthcare, and information technology industries discover and share their spirituality as well as master the alchemy of wonder, compassion, and courage in the corporate world (www.wisdomworkroom.com).

Samir has managed 1,000+ active volunteers, raised over $2 million for worthy causes, designed 100+ events and programs, organized relief efforts nationally and internationally. In 2002, the organization Muslims Against Terrorism honored him for his community leadership on the Upper East Side of Manhattan during the aftermath of 9/11. Samir holds a B.Sc. in Engineering, an M.A. in Psychology, an M.Div, and a Ph.D. in Education.
