Rory Fitzgerald

Journalist and lawyer

Rory Fitzgerald is a journalist and lawyer. He lives on the south coast of Ireland. As well as writing for Irish and British papers, he writes for American periodicals. In doing so he seeks to be an interpreter between two nations “divided by a common language”.

He is interested in the ferment where things intersect: America and Europe; science and religion; human rights and democracy. He specializes in legal and political journalism, but writes profiles and feature pieces as well. He has lived in Australia, America and throughout Europe, but is now happily ensconced in his old Irish farmhouse with his wife and child.
