Roberta Stewart, Ph.D., is Professor of Classics and Chair of the Classics Department at Dartmouth College. She has written on the development of Roman government (Public Office in Early Rome) and Roman slavery (Plautus and Roman Slavery). She teaches history, particularly Roman history, as well as Greek and Latin language and literature.
