Advocacy Chair, Physicians for Haiti

Rishi Rattan is advocacy chair for Physicians for Haiti. He works on state-directed water infrastructure in Haiti. He briefs the United Nations on its role and responsibility improving Haiti’s water security and works with governments of Haiti and its allies. Additionally, Dr. Rattan serves as a scientific liaison and translator for the U.N. and U.S. Congress, helping officials understand how scientific evidence on the introduction of cholera into Haiti can help inform revisions to UN medical screening, waste, and sanitation protocols. His findings have been published in various collections and presented internationally.
