Vice President for Mission and Ministry, Georgetown University
Rev. Kevin O’Brien, S.J., vice president for mission and ministry at Georgetown University, has extensive experience in both university and community ministry and is a published scholar and lecturer in Georgetown's Department of Theology.
A graduate of Georgetown University (C ’88), Father O’Brien earned his law degree from the University of Florida and served as a corporate litigator before joining the Society of Jesus in 1996. He earned an M.A. in Philosophy from Fordham University, an M.Div., and an S.T.L., from the Weston Jesuit School of Theology, and was ordained as a priest in 2006.
Loyola Press published his book, "The Ignatian Adventure: Experiencing the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius in Daily Life," in September 2011.
