Associate Professor of Anthropology, Rollins College; Author, 'The Gift' and 'Women of Fes'
Rachel Newcomb is a cultural anthropologist and writer, currently Associate Professor of Anthropology at Rollins College.
She is the author of a novel, The Gift, and two ethnographies about Morocco. Her writing has appeared in publications including USAToday, the Washington Post, Foreign Policy, and the Chronicle of Higher Education. She received an MA and PhD in Anthropology from Princeton University, and an MA from The Writing Seminars at Johns Hopkins University.
