Rev. Dr. Peter Heltzel is associate professor of Systematic Theology at New York Theological Seminary (NYTS), co-author of Faith-Rooted Organizing (2014) with Alexia Salvatierra, and director of the Micah Institute at NYTS, a faith-rooted organizing network for racial and economic justice in New York City. An Auburn Seminary Senior Fellow, Heltzel serves as Associate Pastor of Evangelism at Park Avenue Christian Church, affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the United Church of Christ.
