Paula has been on television and radio since the early '70s. In addition, she builds on gifts and experience as a film and television producer/director. After an early start in Public Broadcasting, her days as a television host culminated with an Emmy nomination in 1977 for "Small World", a weekly half-hour show on Chicago’s WMAQ-TV, NBC’s owned and operated station, where she was also a station announcer. She then spent almost four decades in the business world as she and Bill Russell created, built, then sold one of the Southeast’s premier film and video companies. Paula is the former president of Clarion Group Live, a business consultancy in which she focused on communications challenges among diverse constituencies, while producing and hosting The Paula Gordon Show. Her undergraduate degree is in government from Oberlin College ('68), her Masters in Radio/Television/Mass Communication is from Indiana University ('72). She serves as Secretary-Treasurer of Public Intelligence, Inc. and of Investigations Group, Inc., a former Trustee of The Interdenominational Theological Center (where she was instrumental in the adoption of TheoEcology as a core mission of the institution), and board member of Quantum Leap, Inc. and a member of its Global Brain Trust. She hosted Musical Wonders from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and served on The Presidents Advisory Board there.. A Midwesterner, she and her husband live in Atlanta and Kimberley, British Columbia.
