Opal is a senior and resident advisor at Pace University. She is a two time New York Women in Communications scholarship winner. Opal is a freelance reporter in NYC, currently working for the MTA and TV Asia, as well as a panelist for The Seven Sisters Project. A few of her previous internships include MSNBC, The Rachael Ray Show, and Sony Music Entertainment. Opal spends her free time volunteering with Marist Young Adult and doing mission trips helping children in Jamaica.
