Melissa Carter is a Morning Show Host on B98.5 in Atlanta. She is also a columnist for the GA Voice. The first openly gay morning radio host in Atlanta, Melissa also co-hosted the nationally syndicated Radio with a Twist, the only terrestrial radio show geared toward the gay community.
Melissa underwent a life-saving kidney transplant in 2002 and later established the Melissa Carter Transplant Fund at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. Sales of her song, "Unplugged," available on iTunes and Amazon.com, benefit the Fund.
